Crash on I-39 near Portage leads to temporary closure of southbound lanes

PORTAGE, Wis. — A crash on Interstate 39 near Portage led to a temporary closure of all southbound lanes Tuesday afternoon.
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation said the crash happened at Mile Marker 87 shortly after 3 p.m. Officials said all southbound lanes were blocked as a result of the crash.
Closures lasted for about two hours, with all lanes reopening at 4:56 p.m.
