Crash closed Beltline ramp at Verona Road

A crash on Verona Road resulted in the closing of a Beltline ramp during the Monday morning commute.

The crash on southbound Verona Road happened just after 7 a.m. at Raymond Road and involved a semi tractor and an SUV. The southbound lanes had to be closed.

The driver of the SUV was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The resulting backup forced the closure of the eastbound Beltline ramp to Verona Road.

One lane reopened at 7:40 a.m. and a second opened at about 8:10 a.m. All lanes were open by 8:25 a.m.
