Craig baseball – Team of the Month
The Janesville Craig baseball team is the Prep Mania Team of the Month.
The Cougars are off to an 18-0 start and are ranked number one in the state this week by the Wisconsin Baseball Coaches Association.
Senior catcher Nick Blomgren says “we have the target on our backs, I guess, because we are undefeated and number one in the state. We should be doing what we are doing because we are such a great team. In my mind, I don’t think we should lose a game this year. I think we are that good, that we should keep winning games.”
Craig’s last trip to the WIAA State baseball tournament was in 2009.
