Coolest Thing Made in Wisconsin contest reaches final stages

MADISON, Wis. — The Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce-sponsored Coolest Things Made in Wisconsin competition started heating up on Wednesday and competition narrowed down to eight final entries.
Featuring such diverse companies as Sargento and Generac Power Systems, the contest was designed to highlight products made in Wisconsin to promote career opportunities in manufacturing, according to a press release from the contest. 150 products were initially nominated in August, before being narrowed down to 16 and now eight.
Voting on the current round is open until 11:59 p.m. Oct. 6.
