Convicted felon arrested for numerous firearms, ‘very large supply of ammunition’

A convicted felon is facing charges for being a felon in possession of a firearm and possession of illegal narcotics after a search warrant was executed at his Argyle home.

According to a release from the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office, Anthony John Nolan, 39, was found with numerous firearms and a “very large supply of ammunition.” Officials said they also found illegal narcotics and evidence of drug use.

Nolan is in custody at the Lafayette County Jail, the release states. The Argyle Police Department and the sheriff’s office detectives are still investigating.
