Confrontation lands man in hospital, police say

A 32-year-old man was punched, kicked and cut when he was attacked by three young men Thursday morning, according to a release from Madison police.

The victim told police he was walking in the 4700 block of Jenewein Road when he was attacked and cut with some sort of sharp-edged weapon. He said he got into a verbal confrontation before the attack.

Most of the man’s cuts were superficial, but two required stitches, according to police.

The victim told police he knows who the attackers are but didn’t want to tell police.
