Concert at Olbrich Gardens celebrates Mother’s Day
MADISON, Wis. — Olbrich Gardens hosted a concert Sunday to celebrate Mother’s Day.
The New Horizons Band played some familiar tunes on the Great Lawn, and visitors brought their own blankets and chairs to enjoy the show.
“We played, for many years, inside,” band director mark Saltzman said. “It’s a little big chancier, with the weather, but it’s a much more beautiful setting to be outside.”
Visitors also got to enjoy some of the plants in the garden that are beginning to bloom.
