Complaint: Man threatened judge, led chase

An Elm Grove man accused of making threats against a judge led deputies on a chase in two counties on Monday.
A criminal complaint states that a man reported to deputies that he received a voice mail from Scott Dummert, 34, that he believed was threatening to Waushara County Judge Guy D. Dutcher and Waushara County District Attorney Scott C. Blader.
The complaint states that a deputy tried to pull over a vehicle registered to Dummert on Monday, which led to a pursuit reaching speeds of more than 90 mph in Marquette and Waushara counties. Deputies called off the pursuit, and Dummert was arrested later the same day at his home in Brookfield on suspicion of making threats to a judge.
Marquette County Sheriff Kim Gaffney told News 3 more charges will likely be filed in Waushara County.
The complaint states that Dutcher presided over cases in 2009 in which Dummert was charged with second-offense operating while intoxicated, fleeing an officer, fraud and bail jumping.
