Colorado deputies free bear locked in vehicle

Deputies in Colorado had to free a bear that broke into a vehicle and ended up locked inside Monday.

The Boulder County Sheriff’s Office deputies discovered the bear early Monday morning after receiving a call that somebody or something was in a woman’s car and beeping the horn, according to a report by KDVR in Denver.

The deputies were able to open the vehicle’s doors and the bear jumped out and sprinted to safety.

Although the inside of the vehicle was damaged, there were no injuries to the bear or any people, the sheriff’s office said.
