Clarice Pierce

Clarice Pierce, age 72, of Janesville, died on Thursday, May 24, 2012, at Mercy Hospital & Trauma Center. She was born in the Town of Hale, Trempealeau County, Osseo, WI on Nov. 26, 1939, the daughter of Clarence and Mary (Christopherson) Swaim. She married Myron “Sonny” Pierce in Madison on Dec. 6, 1969.

She is survived by her husband, Myron “Sonny” Pierce of Janesville; 2 sons, Mark (Tracy) Pierce and Michael (Dawn) Pierce both of Janesville; 3 grandchildren: Bailey Pierce, Brandon Davis and Jayden Kuhnle; 6 siblings: Maurice (Darlene) Swaim of Milton, Lyman (Ruth) Swaim of Batavia, IL, Shirley (Fred) Breutzman of Rochester, MN, Roland (Shirley) Swaim of Janesville, Audrey (Ronald) Harnisch of Osseo, WI, and Harriet (LaMoine) Anderson of Strum, WI; aunt, Lilah Eastzman of Eau Claire, WI; nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; 1 brother, Gordon Swaim; and father and mother-in-law, Delbert and Evelyn Pierce.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 29, 2012, at SCHNEIDER APFEL SCHNEIDER & SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY with Rev. James Melvin officiating. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at SCHNEIDER APFEL SCHNEIDER & SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY.
