Christopher T. (Tup) Riley
BELLEVILLE, Wis. — Christopher T. (Tup) Riley passed away June 1st, 2017 at his home in Belleville. Tup was born September 14th, 1959 at Madison General Hospital (Meriter), to Thomas M. and Mary (Gilbertson) Riley.
He grew up in Verona, where he was an excellent wrestler for Verona High class of 1977. He went on and graduated from MATC. On August 24th 1991, he and Susan Brown Norsetter were married on their farm in Belleville. Tup and Susy’s three children; Philipp, Chelsea, and Dylan were the true bond to their marriage.
Tup and Susy opened their restaurant Daverino’s in Verona, a staple for many years, where numerous friendships were made. Tup was a farmer, financial planner, fisherman and jack of all trades for everyone. He was one of the all-time greatest fishermen and cribbage players as well as the greatest handyman. Tup was always the one that everyone could count on if they needed anything. He was extremely supportive and giving. He will be forever missed but never forgotten. He is survived by his wife Susy and children; Philipp (Laury) Norsetter and their children Oliver (Ollie) and Fern, daughter Chelsea (Mike) Uebersetzig, and son Dylan.
He is further survived by his parents Thomas M. (Lila) Riley and Mary (Bruce) Cruger. His in laws Georgene (Tom Streb) Brown and Nick (Judy) Brown. His brother Michael (Nicki) Riley and sister Sue Ann (Bob) Whetstone and countless friends and relatives.
There will be a celebration of Tup’s life at the family home (N9234 Hillcrest rd. Belleville, WI) on Sunday, June 4th at 1:00 PM.
