Christine M. Cook

Christine M. Cook, age 58, passed away peacefully Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at Grant Regional Health Center in Lancaster, Wisconsin.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 6, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at the Big Spring Congregational Church in Big Spring, Wisconsin with Reverend Bob Brandhagen officiating. Burial will be at the Big Spring Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Sunday from 1 p.m. until the time of service at 2 p.m.

Christine was born February 5, 1959 in Black River Falls, Wisconsin the daughter of Robert and Arleen (Lapp) Cook. She graduated from Kickapoo High School in 1979. Later she worked for over 30 years at the Opportunity Center in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin. Christine enjoyed life and socializing with friends, family and complete strangers.

Christine is survived by her sisters, Patricia Cook of Reno, Nevada, Linda (James) Schroeder of Winnebago, Illinois and Carole (Mark) Russ of Hartville, Wyoming; brothers, Robert (Bernice) Cook of Naples, Florida and William (Michele) Cook of Holmen, Wisconsin; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and nephew, Robert Sieczkowski.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Opportunity Center would be appreciated.
