Chicago man driving drunk with 4 kids arrested on OWI charge, police say

MADISON, Wis. — A Chicago man was arrested Thursday night for allegedly driving drunk with four children in the vehicle, according to a release.
Wisconsin State Patrol and the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office were called around 11 p.m. to locate a subject that was involved in a domestic incident at the Three Bears Lodge, officials said.
Brian E. Pride, 39, was reportedly intoxicated and headed toward Illinois with his four children in the vehicle, according to the release. A state trooper stopped the vehicle in the village of Warrens and arrested Pride.
The children were taken back to Three Bears Lodge by other law enforcement officers.
Pride faces a charge of first-degree operating while intoxicated with passengers under 16 years of age.
