Charlotte C. (Anderson) Wilson

POYNETTE/JANESVILLE- Charlotte C. (Anderson) Wilson, passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2017, at Cedar Crest Community for Senior Adults in Janesville, where she lived for over 20 years.
She was born on Nov. 5, 1913, in Poynette, the daughter of Maude Bernice Loomis and Fredrick August Hans Anderson. She married Hubert Wilson in 1940. They lived in Poynette for all of their married life.
She is survived by a daughter, Cecilia Wilson Holder of St. Paul, Minn.; two grandchildren, Aaron (Laura) Holder of Wauwatosa and Rachel (Peter) Hennig of St. Paul, Minn.; two great-grandchildren, Edith Olivia Hennig and Althea Louise Hennig; two nephews; a niece; and other near relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert; her parents; two sisters and their husbands, Luella (Milo) Bisbee and Alice (Gene) Charmley, and Albert Roth; son-in-law, The Rev. Logan W. Holder; and an infant grandson.
Charlotte was a life member of the United Methodist Church in Poynette. She taught in one room schools and in the Poynette Public Schools. Charlotte was an active person in the community. She will be buried with her husband at Hillside Cemetery in a private ceremony on Tuesday, July 25, 2017, with the Rev. Christine Bethke presiding.
Memorials may be made to Cedar Crest Community for Senior Adults, 1702 S. River Rd., Janesville, WI 53546.
The family would appreciate that the memorials be designated for the Benevolent Care Fund. At this time in our history we would appreciate that money be given to help others obtain the excellent care that Charlotte received from a dedicated staff.
