Chargers draft Melvin Gordon in first round
The San Diego Chargers drafted Wisconsin running back Melvin Gordon in the first round of the NFL draft Thursday night.
San Diego traded with San Francisco to move up two spots and pick running back Gordon with the 15th selection.
The cost for the Chargers: This year’s first- (17th overall) and fourth-round picks, along with a fifth-round pick next year.
