If you and your family celebrate Easter, local restaurants and bakeries are making it easy. Whether you want to enjoy an Easter brunch, a carrot cake babka or a box of special chocolates for the kids’ baskets, here’s a list of tempting (and limited time only) offerings for this weekend. An online menu of goodies are available all weekend at Batch Bakehouse. Enjoy pies, croissants, easter egg cakes, sugar cookies, coconut macaroons, scones or coffee cakes. Brasserie V
The Monroe Street restaurant is offering a take and make dinner, cheese board and a special Easter basket for preorder pick-up Friday and Saturday. For the dinner, enjoy leg of lamb with a variety of sides including roasted garlic and Satori Parmesan mashed potatoes and creamed sweet peas with pancetta and mint. CocoVaa Chocolatier
This weekend find giant eggs and lots of desserts at CocoVaa. The giant eggs are filled with mini eggs, hazelnut bourbon creams and espresso beans. You’ll also find the classic truffles CocoVaa is known for and an elevated version of Peeps. Easter orders have shipped but the shop will be open this weekend. 1815 E. Just Bakery

Nau-Ti-Gal

Nature’s Bakery Cooperative
Both vegans and those with nut allergies can enjoy special treats from Nature’s Bakery Cooperative. The bakery created conchas and conchitas for Easter. Saints Madison Juice Co. recently announced its last day in business will be April 9, so before it closes try the Easter specialty drink. Salvatore’s Tomato Pies
Salvatore’s Tomato Pies is creating a meal for four for Easter. Enjoy ham, loaded baked potatoes, asparagus with horseradish aioli, spring pasta salad, rolls and carrot cake.
