Cecelia Lecy

JANESVILLE—Cecelia Lecy, age 80, of Janesville, died on Friday, June 8, 2012, at Rock Haven Nursing Home, Janesville. She was born in Stephen, MN on November 10, 1931, the daughter of Kazemer and Miellie (Woyak) Rajnowski.

She married Robert L. Schrader, Sr. in 1948, and later married Dean A. Lecy on August 5, 1961, in Northwood, IA. He preceded her in death on February 2, 1992. She had been employed by Jackson Elementary School as a teacher’s aide with special education for many years, and was a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church.

Cecelia is survived by her children, Robert Louis (Cheryl) Schrader of Adams, WI, Karen Marie (Paul) Caldie of Roseburg, OR, John (Gail) Lecy of Spring Lake Park, MN, James (Sherry) Lecy of Anoka, MN, Joel (Valarie) Lecy of Brooklyn Center, MN and Marcia (Lannie) Anderson of Custer, SD; 8 grandchildren: William, Tamra, Katie, Adam, Jimmy Dean, Dustin, Jacob and Angela; 5 siblings: Agnes Verbout of Sterling, IL, Sylvester Rajnowski of Texas, Shirley Ann Richter of Minnesota, Helen Allen of Rock Falls, IL and Antoinette Richter of Sterling, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, many brothers and sisters.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, June 15, 2012, at ST. JOHN VIANNEY CATHOLIC CHURCH, Janesville with Fr. Bill Nolan officiating. Entombment will be at Milton Lawns Mausoleum, Janesville. A visitation will be on Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at SCHNEIDER APFEL SCHNEIDER & SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY.
