Catherine Louise Parchem

Catherine Parchem, age 81 of Mauston, Wisconsin formerly of Lyndon Station, Wisconsin died Saturday, April 7, 2012 at Meriter Park Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, April 12, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Lyndon Station with Father Valentine Joseph celebrating. Burial will be at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Conway Picha Funeral Home in Lyndon Station on Thursday from 9:30 A.M. to 10:45 A.M. and then process to the church.

Catherine was born December 8, 1930 in Cazenovia, Wisconsin the daughter of Edmund and Olive (Strang) Schluter. In April of 1950 she married Joseph Parchem at St. Mary’s Catholic Church and together they dairy farmed until 1986. She then continued working at Paul Bunyan’s Restaurant in Wisconsin Dells for the next 20 years. She was a member of the Ladies Sodality at the church and the Homemakers Club.

Catherine is survived by a brother, Duane (Bonnie) Schluter of Ft. Worth, Texas and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joseph; and a brother, Edmund Charles Schluter, Jr.
