Carolyn Sue Bratcher

Carolyn Sue Bratcher, 67 years of Portage and formerly of Lake Delton and Mauston died on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at her residence. She was born on August 29, 1945 in Rockford, IL to Raymond and Jean (Greisen) Breese.

Carolyn has lived in the area all her life where she was a cook at various restaurants and also did housekeeping. She enjoy fishing, collecting especially owls and loved her dog Lucy.

Survivors include 4 children Randy (Colleen) Baker of Waupun, Sheila Baker of Charleston, NC, Ronald (Tammy) Baker of White Creek, WI and John “J C” (Susan) Bratcher of Portage; 7 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren, 4 brothers Leroy (Greta) Breese of Juda, WI, Raymond E. “Junior” (Virginia) Breese of Machesney Park, IL, John E “Johnny” (Sandy) Breese of Huntingdon, TN and Don “Donnie” (Sonija) Breese of Roscoe, IL and 5 sisters Dorothy Linn of Elroy, WI, Kathy Breese of Machesney Park, IL, Connie (George) Garland of Texas, Linda (Gary) Cavin of South Beloit, IL and Norma Novy of Richland Center, WI and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband John C. Bratcher in 2000 and her parents.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at 1:00 PM at the Picha Funeral Home, Lake Delton with Rev. Blake Overlien officiating. Burial will follow in the Lake Delton Village Cemetery. Friends may call at the Picha Funeral Home, Lake Delton on Tuesday from 11 AM until 1 PM.
