Carol Elizabeth Foelker

CAROL E. FOELKER age 93 of Fort Atkinson, passed away at her home Sunday July 16, 2017. She was born in Eagle on February 22, 1924 to Anton and Elizabeth (Lane) Steinhoff.

Carol married James Foelker on June 10, 1950 he preceded her in death on December 20, 2010.

Together Carol and James farmed over 40 years in the Hebron area. Carol was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her Faith was the center of her life as she raised her children. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Fort Atkinson. Carol also volunteered at St. Vincent de Paul, and the Jefferson Food Pantry. She will be deeply missed by her family; Sons David (Susan) Foelker of Sun Prairie, Dr. Dennis (Karen) Foelker of Watertown,

James (Diane) Foelker of McFarland and daughter Diane Foelker of Fort Atkinson. 14 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren.Sister Catherine Eaton of West Bend, and sister-in-law Jean Steinhoff of Palmyra.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Margaret Goettl, and brother John Steinhoff.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday July 20, 2017 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Fort Atkinson. Visitation will be at the church from 10:00 a.m.-11:30 a.m. Private family entombment will be in the Milton Lawn Cemetery.

Memorials in Carol’s name may be given to St. Joseph’s Catholic Church or to Rainbow Hospice.
