According to a criminal complaint, a Department of Health Services suspected a case of abuse at Sylvan Crossing in June 2019. The victim’s family had also suspected their loved one was being abused and put up a camera in her room.
Video footage from that camera showed Zeka slapping the victim on her head, kicking her and pulling her hair, the complaint said.
A sentencing hearing has been scheduled for October 28.
