Capital City bike path will be closed for building demolition

The Capital City bike path will be closed Wednesday while a nearby building is demolished, according to a release.

The path will be closed from 8:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. between South Dickinson Street and South Thornton Avenue, officials said.

The path is being closed for the second time in a week because high winds stopped crews from working last Wednesday, according to the release.

During the closure, a signed detour will use East Main Street and South Dickinson Street, officials said.
