Business Forum To Examine Economic Survey Results
The First Business Bank’s annual Economic Survey gives a barometer of the business environment in Dane County.
The survey will be presented at the First Business Economic Survey & Forum of Dane County on Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. at the Monona Terrace in Madison.
Every year for the past nine, the First Business Economic Survey has asked every business leader in Dane County how they have fared in the past year and what they expect in the next. The survey offers a unique snapshot of how businesses feel about themselves and their marketplace
Scott Converse, professor at the UW-Madison School of Business, will present the findings and discuss implications of the 2011 survey.
Following the presentation Wendy Warren Grapentine will moderate a panel discussion with local business leaders on the economic climate of Dane County.

This is the ninth year the survey is being conducted in Dane County. Four years ago it expanded to Milwaukee and Waukesha counties, as well as northeast Wisconsin.
