Bullets hit 2 apartment buildings, police say

MADISON, Wis. — Two apartment buildings were struck by gunfire Monday night, according to a release from Madison police.
Officers were called at 11:47 p.m. to the 2900 block of Turbot Drive after reports of gunfire.
Police said four bullets hit one building and one bullet hit the other. There were no reported injuries.
Residents reported hearing eight to ten shots. A woman who lives nearby said she saw a man run out from between two buildings just after the shots were fired. He got into a dark-colored SUV and sped off before officers arrived.
