Building Evacuated After Chemical Spill On UW Campus

The Madison Fire Department Hazardous Incident Team responded about 10:15 a.m. to a report of a chemical spill in a laboratory in the Biochemistry building.

Hazardous Incident Team personnel donned protective equipment and entered the lab to monitor the air quality and identify the chemicals. The team identified the materials’ properties and hazards.
