Brent Kyzer-McHenry resigns as Alliant Energy Center executive director

MADISON, Wis. — Brent Kyzer-McHenry has resigned from his role as the executive director of the Alliant Energy Center.
In an email, Greg Brockmeyer, Dane County’s director of administration, said Kyzer-McHenry resigned effective Jan. 19 for personal reasons.
“An announcement about an interim director will be made in the coming days,” Brockmeyer said. “The County will be conducting a national search for his replacement.”
Dane County Executive Joe Parisi named Kyzer-McHenry to the role in April 2020. In a news release, Parisi cited his “impressive background in convention and exhibition work that will serve Dane County and the Alliant Energy Center incredibly well.”
An email sent to Kyzer-McHenry Thursday afternoon was returned with an automatic message saying he no longer works for the center.
Messages to the Alliant Energy Center and Parisi’s office were not immediately returned.
