Brent A Russell

Brent A Russell of Stoughton, WI died unexpectedly on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at the University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison Wisconsin.
Brent was born on July 21, 1975, in Madison Wisconsin, the son of A. Franklin Russell and Melanie A Russell (Schultz). He was disabled at the time of his passing, but had worked most recently as a home caregiver. Professionally he worked as Director of Operations for the New Glarus Bakery, and held several Management and supervisory positions for Sitel Corporation, which is a provider of technical and other support services for many prestigious companies. Brent studied Business Management at Madison Area Technical College, and graduated from New Glarus High School. He was known by his friends and family as an avid listener, a trustworthy advisor, and as someone with an uplifting and humorous personality. Brent could always find the silver lining in a situation, would ease people’s worries, and made the whole room laugh and smile.
Survivors include his mother, Melanie A Russell; his sister Patricia A Russell; aunts, Charlotte Green, Lois Sergeant, Wilma Johnson; uncles Clarence Russell and Rodney Schultz; many cousins; and special friends, Toby, Sasha, Ethan, Kalif, and Repose.
He was preceded in death by his father, A Franklin Russell; his brother Aaron Franklin Russell; his grandparents, Otis Russell, Evelyn Russell, Roy Schultz and Edna Schultz; aunts, Dorothy Plice, Mary Jane Russell; and uncles, Don Russell, and Ken Russell.
Private family services will be held later in the month. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial donations be made to Ryan Funeral Home, 2418 N Sherman Ave, Madison, WI 53704.
