Bond set at $1M for man charged in deadly Janesville workplace shooting

JANESVILLE, Wis. — Bond has been set at $1 million for the man accused of fatally shooting a coworker at Precision Drawn Metals in Janesville earlier this week, online court records show.

Kevin Todd, 23, of Evansville, faces one count of first-degree intentional homicide and three counts of first-degree recklessly endangering safety in the wake of the Tuesday afternoon shooting. Police said Todd, who had worked at Precision Drawn Metals for just a few days before the shooting, claimed he was being bullied at work. Other employees did not corroborate his claim.

Court records show Todd is not allowed to have contact with the victims, their families or employees. He is also required to maintain absolute sobriety.

An adjourned initial appearance has been scheduled for May 5.
