Where did you go to school? BS in Meteorology from the University of North Dakota (99) and MS in Meteorology at the Naval Post Graduate School (2008)
Previous experience: 12 years as a weather officer in the United States Air Force, 10 years as a Meteorologist-in-Charge in the National Weather Service, TV Met in Anchorage (2003)

Why did you decide to come to Madison? I decided to move back to the area after living in many US locations while in the military and federal government.
What’s the biggest or most memorable event you’ve covered? Serving with the 10th Mountain Division in Kandahar, Afghanistan in 2003-2004
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received? Only worry about the things you can control…don’t waste your time or energy on ones you can’t.
What do you like to do in your spare time? Any type of outdoor activities…and hit the gym quite often
If you could have one superpower, what would it be? Reading people’s mind
What was your favorite band or musical artist in high school? Never really had a favorite band or artist…just favorite songs (I. e. Motown Philly by Boyz To Men)
