Biden orders flags to half staff in wake of Lunar New Year shooting

MONTEREY PARK, Calif. — President Joe Biden ordered U.S. flags to be flown at half-staff Monday in honor of the victims of a shooting near a Los Angeles area Lunar New Year celebration.
A gunman opened fire at a ballroom dance club on Saturday night, killing 10 people and injuring 10 more. The suspect, 72-year-old Huu Can Tran, was found dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound on Sunday.

In a proclamation on Monday, Biden ordered the flag be flown at half-staff until sunset on Thursday.
