Beverly Shilts

JANESVILLE— Beverly Shilts, age 62, of Janesville died Friday, June 1, 2012 at Agrace Hospice Care, Fitchburg, WI. She was born on September 7, 1949, in Milwaukee, WI, the daughter of Richard and Charlotte (Wiese) Page. Beverly married Guy Shiltz Jr. on June 5, 1970, in Wauwatosa, WI. She had been employed as an X-ray Technician at St. Mary’s Hospital, Dean Clinic East and Fort Atkinson Hospital. Beverly also worked as a realtor for Keefe. Beverly was on the founding board of directors for Crossroads Counseling Center and an active volunteer for Health Net in Janesville. She also enjoyed sewing, crocheting, cooking (especially soups), baking, bicycling, reading, camping and sailing. We remember her as compassionate, caring, kind, intelligent, organized, dedicated, selfless, strong, radiant, and loving.”

Beverly is survived by her husband, Guy; 3 children: Megan Marie Shilts of Janesville, Will Shilts of Madison and Jordan (Haley) Shilts of Madison; a sister, Barbara (Dick) Sovde of Seattle, WA; a brother, Larry (Diane ) Page of Kenosha, WI; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Tom Page.

Memorial Services will be held Saturday June 9, 2012, at 12:00 Noon at Emmanuel Free Methodist Church, Janesville. Visitation will be Saturday, June 9, 2012 from 10:00 am to 12:00 Noon at Emmanuel Free Methodist Church, Janesville.
