Betty Seely

MADISON – Betty Seely, age 84, of Madison, passed away on Monday, Dec. 12, 2022, surrounded by her family. She was born on Oct. 11, 1938, in Boscobel, Wis., the daughter of Ervie and Bernice (Pettit) Faulkner.

Betty was a beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. She was more than happy being the central figure in the lives of her family, anyone who knows them knew she was a star in their eyes. Betty enjoyed shopping, cooking and spending all of her time with family and friends. She was an amazing cook and loved hosting the holidays, especially Christmas, it was  her favorite time of year.

Betty is survived by her daughters, Holly (Tony) Silva and Jackie Sanger; sons, Todd Sanger and David Seely; son-in-law, Dave Harrington; brothers, Robert Faulkner, Larry Faulkner, John (Susie) Faulkner and Stan (Debbie) Faulkner; sisters, Cindy (Fred) Maldonado, Rhonda (Brian) Steicht and Barbara Kirschbaum; 24 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughters, Dawn McFadden and Cheryl Harrington; son, Jon Sanger; granddaughter, Tasha Sanger; sisters, Ruth Lair, Evelyn Horn, Pam Edie and Gloria Washburn; brother, Terry Faulkner; and former husbands, Jack Sanger, David Seely and Russ Ninedorf.
