Bertha Johanna Roth

Madison-Bertha J. Roth, age 91, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 14, 2012, surrounded by family at Agrace HospiceCare in Fitchburg. She was born on June 11, 1920 in Obersinn, Taunus, Germany, the daughter of August and Maria (Fuchs) Fischer. 

Bertha is survived by her children, Hans (Brigitte) Roth, Herbert (Ramona) Roth, and Helga Roth; grandchildren, Janie, Michael, Jason, Chris, Heidi, Jesse, Andrew, and Matthew; 15 great-grandchildren, and family in Europe.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernst Roth; and her parents, August and Maria Fischer.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, April 21, 2012, at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 2418 N Sherman Ave, Madison, with Chaplain Timothy Jones officiating. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 11 am until the time of service. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
