Bed bugs found at Wisconsin Dells resort
Sauk County health officials confirmed that bed bugs were found at the Chula Vista resort in the Wisconsin Dells Friday after social media reports from guests surfaced.
According to the Southwest Environmental Consortium, they received a complaint Thursday, and Chula Vista management was already addressing the issue by shutting down the room in question and inspected adjacent rooms.
According to the SEC’s Environmental Health Manager Jim Beix, guests usually bring bedbugs to hotels but normally don’t show up until a few guests later.
