Beaver Dam manufacturer optimistic about Trump’s jobs plan

A Beaver Dam manufacturer who met with President Donald Trump Friday to discuss the president’s jobs plan told News 3 he has an “incredibly high level of optimism” about the plan.

Apache Stainless CEO Ed Paradowski attended a listening session with Trump put on by the National Association of Manufacturers in the nation’s capital.

During the meeting, Trump highlighted a new report that showed 93 percent of manufacturers now have a positive outlook on the future of their businesses. Paradowski said the same survey conducted last year showed the confidence level was just 56 percent.

Trump has repeatedly promised to remove regulations on American industries and bring back work that has been outsourced to other countries.

“There is important things that this administration is doing that will allow manufacturing in this country to be much more competitive,” Paradowski said.
