Barbara M. Riesen

Barbara M. Riesen, age 85, of Janesville, died on Monday, May 22, 2017, at home.

She was born in Milwaukee on April 17, 1932, the daughter of Florian and Lottie (Kuchta) Zdradzinski. She married George R. Riesen on June 25, 1949, and he preceded her in death on Jan. 14, 2015. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Milton.

Barbara is survived by her 6 children: Judith (Tom) Green of Janesville, Peggy (Donald) Wallman of Janesville, Kathie (David) Jones of Virginia, Deb (Robert) Samuelson of Edgerton, David (Kim) Riesen of Indiana and Janet White of Janesville; 17 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; sister, Pat (Jerry) Zurowski of Oconomowoc; many other extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and sister, Diane Miller.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 19, 2017, at ST. MARY CATHOLIC CHURCH, Milton with Rev. David Timmerman officiating. A visitation will be held on Monday, June 19, 2017, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Church. Entombment will be in Mt. Olivet Mausoleum.
