Barbara A. Hammond
MADISON- Barbara A. Hammond, age 84, of Oregon, passed away on Monday, Dec. 5, 2022, at Sienna Crest. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother. Barbara was born on Jan. 3, 1938, in Madison, the daughter of Francis and Angeline (Olson) Maloney.
Barbara worked as a daycare provider for many years. She was always smiling and enjoyed visiting with people. Her smile, laughter and stories of her childhood will be missed.
Barbara is survived by her daughters, Regina (Jeff) Mauel and Laura Hammond; grandchild, Jessica Hammond; great-grandchildren, Samantha, Dominic and Cameron; two brothers, Terry (Kelli) Maloney and Richard (Susan) Maloney; and sister, Mary Traino.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack; infant son, Robert “Bobby” John Hammond; parents, Francis and Angeline; sister, Patty Mae (Robert) Wallace; and brother-in-law, George Thomas Traino.
