Badgers sweep Huskers, move into the top spot in Big Ten standings

LINCOLN, Neb. — For the 6th straight time, Wisconsin beat Nebraska and this one was their biggest yet.


The Badgers handed the Huskers their first loss in conference play in straight sets (26-24, 25-19, 25-23) and swept their way to the top of the Big Ten standings.


Anna Smrek led the way with 12 kills, while Dana Rettke added in 11. The win moves Wisconsin to 6-0 against top 15 ranked opponents this season.
