Badgers Prep For Saturday’s Matchup With Vanderbilt Commodores
The University of Wisconsin Badgers men’s basketball team is preparing for Saturday’s NCAA third-round game against Vanderbilt.
On Friday, the Badgers had an afternoon practice and team meetings in Albuquerque.
The Badgers also relaxed by playing a classic video game, “Mario Kart” on Nintendo.
The ringleader of the Badgers’ “Mario Kart” circuit was Jordan Taylor, the team’s senior guard.
“I’m on my way to the national championship, slowly but surely,” Taylor said. “Ben Brust was the early favorite, but he’s taken a dip for the worse. Josh Gasser has dropped out, because he didn’t want to be there.”
“I don’t know about that,” sophomore guard Josh Gasser said. “(Taylor) likes to talk a little bit. He thinks he’s better than us, but I think me and Ben can take him.
The fourth-seeded Badgers face the fifth-seeded Commodores in the NCAA tournament’s East Regional on Saturday at 5:20 p.m. CST on TNT.
