Badgers Football turns up the heat

Wisconsin is less than a week away from their season opener as UMass heads to Camp Randall Saturday at 11 a.m.
The heat turns up on Gary Andersen figuratively as he begins his first season as the Badgers head coach.
The heat will literally be turned up on the Badgers on the field as temperature’s are supposed to hit the 90s this week. That could be good for the Badgers as they head to Arizona State in week three.
The weather has been mild in Wisconsin during training camp, so the players haven’t had to deal with much heat during practice, but Andersen won’t use that as an excuse if things don’t go well in three weeks.
Badgers Football turns up the heat“It would have been nice to get a couple more (hot days), but we’re not going to walk out of Arizona State and say ‘Well, if August 12 was hot we would have played better.’ It is what it is and I think we’ll be prepared when the time comes.”
The Badgers and Sun Devils kickoff Saturday, September 14 at 9:30 p.m.
