Badgers Fill The Bowl, Gophers roll
Record crowd sees No. 1 Minnesota beat Wisconsin 4-0

MADISON, Wis. — Wisconsin Women’s Hockey wanted to Fill The Bowl at the Kohl Center. They did just that. An NCAA record 13,573 packed the Kohl Center Saturday night to see top-ranked Minnesota face No. 2 Wisconsin. The Gophers were unfazed by the crowd and calmly beat the Badgers 4-0.
The teams were scoreless through one period. In the second, the Gophers drew first blood. Kelly Terry went top shelf on Alex Rigsby to make it 1-0 Minnesota. Later in the second, the Gophers seized control when Hannah Brandt got behind a reeling Rigsby to make it 2-0.
In the third period, the Gophers tacked on two more goals to win 4-0. In two homes games against the Gophers, the Badgers were outscored 7-2.
