Four days of two-a-days wrap up Thursday
Badgers complete first phase of fall camp

The Wisconsin Badger football team started fall camp Monday and has had two practices a day since.

The practices essentially split the teams into two groups – one in the morning, one in the afternoon.

Head coach Gary Andersen said he was pleased with the progress made over the first four days.

“Probably the most proud of is the coaches really dug in and had four two-a-days in a row so, none of us have had to do that for a few years so it’s good for them to get out here,” Andersen said after practice Thursday afternoon.

“The learning was awesome. This schedule has been very, very good for the kids to play, watch themselves, come out and  play, watch themselves , get ready for the next day.”

The Badgers will hold a scrimmage Sunday morning at 11 am at Camp Randall stadium that’s free and open to the public.
