Badgers blast OSU Buckeyes
Koenig paces UW with 21 points
The No. 20 Wisconsin men’s basketball team dominated Ohio State on both ends of the floor and cruised to an 89-66 win at the Kohl Center.
Senior guard Bronson Koenig hit five three-pointers and finished with 21 points to lead Wisconsin. Ohio natives Nigel Hayes and Vitto Brown added 15 and 12 points, respectively, to add to the Buckeyes misery.
Wisconsin led 19-16 at the under 12:00 timeout of the first half, but they went on a quick 9-0 run to pull away for good.
The Badgers improve to 14-3, 3-1 in the Big Ten. OSU falls to 10-7, 0-4.
