Authorities Search For Pharmacy Robbery Suspect
Sauk Prairie police said they are searching for a man suspected of an armed robbery Tuesday at a pharmacy in the village of Prairie du Sac.
Police said they received a report at about 3:45 p.m. Tuesday of an armed robbery in progress at the Eannelli Pharmacy at 405 Water St.
Police said a pharmacist was held a gunpoint by a man with a large revolver. The pharmacist was injured during an altercation with the suspect, and he was treated at the scene for his injuries.
Sauk Prairie police said they are searching for a suspect identified as Anthony J. Carriola, 28, of rural Lodi.
Carriola is believed to be driving a black 2002 Chevrolet Venture van with a personalized Wisconsin license plate 0KED0KE, police said.
Police said a felony warrant charging Carriola with robbery with the use of force has been issued. Police said they have recovered the firearm believed to have been used in the robbery.
Police said citizens are asked to contact 911 and report any sightings of Carriola immediately.
