Austin Jacob Reuter

Austin Jacob Reuter, 7, of LaMotte, Iowa, formerly of Dickeyville, Wisconsin died on Thursday, May 10, 2012 at Mercy Medical Center, Dubuque, from results of a farm accident.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, May 14, 2012 at the First English Lutheran Church, Platteville. Rev. Michael Short will officiate. Burial will be at VanBuren Cemetery, Potosi, Wisconsin. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday at the church. Memorials may be made to the Austin Jacob Reuter Memorial Fund. He was born on February 28, 2005 in Lancaster, Wisconsin the son of Karla Berg Reuter and Roland Reuter. Austin attended first grade at Table Mound Elementary School in Dubuque, Iowa. Besides playing with friends at school, Austin also enjoyed playing and working around the farm. He played with his dogs Rascal, Bear, and Maggie and his cat Lucky, and also liked playing with the cows. He liked to fish, swim, and play football. He appreciated being with his family and frequently reminded them how much he loved them.

He is survived by his parents, Karla Berg Reuter (Mark Stillmunkes) and Roland Reuter (Chris Eng); sister, Angel; grandparents, LeRoy and Barbara Berg and Gerald Reuter; aunts, Kristine (Kurt) Wood, Kayleen (Eric) DeWerd, Sally (Vinnie) Loeffelholz, Marilyn (Bob) Ward, Marlene (Rick) Allen; uncles, Randy (Jane), Junior (Ruth), Rod (Joan), Rockie (Brenda) Reuter; step-grandparents, Isabelle Stillmunkes and Kathy (Rod) Kalish and Don (Janet) Ready; step-siblings, Kelsey (Jaime) Schroeder, Matthew and Michael Stillmunkes, Ashley (Matt) Abing, Danielle (Adam) Foster, Tyler Eng, Adrianna Abing, Landon and Lane Foster; step-aunts and uncles, Linda and Merle, Carol and Bill, Sharon and Gary, Lois, Randy and Renee, and Leta and Wallace; and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his Grandmother, Geraldine Reuter.
