Attempted robbery near Taco Bell leads to gunshots
MADISON, Wis. — A victim scared away would-be robbers who fired guns as they fled on Friday night police said.
Madison police officers responded to reports of multiple shots being fired at the 500 block North Oak Street around 10:15 p.m. Friday.
Police said two people approached two victims in the nearby Taco Bell parking lot. The robbers displayed guns and attempted to rob them.
One of the victims scared the robbers away and chased them, police said. As the robbers fled, they shot at the victims.
There were no injuries reported.
The robbers were last seen fleeing in a silver minivan, police said.
