Arthur D. Greisen

Arthur D. Greisen, 88 died Sunday, June 25, 2017 at Heritage Manor in Elroy.

Art was the son of William and Minnie (Collins) Greisen and was born on March 19, 1929 in Ontario, Vernon County, Wisconsin.

Art was one of twelve children that were raised with a love for the land. He also was a generous thoughtful person that would go above and beyond to lend a helping hand when it was needed.

Art worked in a couple factories for a few years, then went into farming full time at Clifton first, then in Hillsboro.

Art is survived by a son William, a daughter Carol, step-children, step grandchildren and great grandchildren, a sister Bonnie of Montello, and a sister-in-law Darlene. He will be greatly missed by a special family friend Carl and numerous nieces nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Art was preceded in death by his wife Mary who passed on November 5, 1997, his parents, eight sisters and two brothers.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2017 from Noon until 4:00 p.m. at the Best Western Park Oasis Banquet Room, Mauston.
