Arlene Bender

ARLENE V. BENDER, age, 73 of Watertown passed away at Shorehaven Nursing home in Oconomowoc. She was born on August 29, 1942 in Fort Atkinson, daughter of the late William and Winifred (Maaz) Miller.

She married Jack Bender on June 30, 1962. Arlene owned and operated the Concord House for 43 years. She was a member of St. Stephen Lutheran Church in Concord.

She will be deeply missed by her family, husband Jack Bender of Watertown. Sons Chris Bender of Watertown, and John (Patricia) Bender of Concord. Grandchildren Kailey Bender (Alex Mueske), Adam Grulke, Brent (Alicia) Grulke, Courtney (John) McCool, Allison Bender, John Bender, Karissa Bender, Kaylin Bender, One Brother Alvin (June) Miller of Watertown.

Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday February 5, 2016 at the Schneider-Michaelis Funeral home in Jefferson with the Rev. Alan Klatt officiating. Visitation will be on Friday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of Service, burial will be on Saturday at Greenwood cemetery in Jefferson.
