Ann P. Sheridan

Ann P. Sheridan, age 77, of Edgerton, died on Monday, Jan. 7, 2013, at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center, Milwaukee. She was born in Janesville on Nov. 13, 1935, the daughter of James and Mary (Manthey) Oakley. She attended St. Mary’s Catholic School and graduated from Janesville High School in 1954. Ann married Daniel T. Sheridan in St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Janesville on Jan. 22, 1955, and he preceded her in death on Oct. 19, 2010. She had been a Janesville resident most of her life and an Edgerton resident for the last 22 years. She had been employed by Parker Pen for over 30 years. Ann has been a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Milton, and the Women of the Moose. She was an avid quilter, loved to go to Casino’s, traveling with her husband, Dan, and boating on the Rock River.
She is survived by her 7 children: Sheryl (Tony) Walls of Janesville, Vickie (Tom) Smith of Edgerton, Michael (Kim Pavlik) Sheridan of Janesville, David Sheridan of Janesville, Daniel P. (Tami) Sheridan of Milton, Paul (Tammie) Sheridan of Janesville and Lisa (Don) Marshall of Beloit; 11 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and expecting the 9th; sister, Jean Weaver of Janesville; in-laws: Pat Wileman, Kay (Lee) Gosda, Donna (Jerry) Brehm, Sally (Paul) Cole, Richard (Diane) Sheridan, Terry (Judy) Sheridan, and Fran Sheridan; nieces, nephews, and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; 3 brothers-in-law, Richard Weaver, James H. Sheridan and Russ Wileman; and sister-in-law, Doris Sheridan.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, at ST. WILLIAM CATHOLIC CHURCH with Rev. John Auby officiating. A visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the church. Entombment will be in Mt. Olivet Mausoleum. SCHNEIDER APFEL SCHNEIDER & SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY is assisting the family.
