Ann M. White

Ann M. White, age 65, of Lancaster, Wisconsin, ended her battle with cancer on Saturday, May 12, 2012. She spent her final days at home surrounded by her family and friends.

Ann was born on June 3, 1946 in Watertown, Wisconsin, the daughter of William Ryan and Henrietta (Nellis) Code. She was united in marriage to Vernon J. White on April 17, 1982 at UW-Lutheran Chapel, Madison. This was the second marriage for both, which brought together two families. Ann worked for Grant County, Southwest Family Care Alliance for many years as a social worker. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Ann is survived by her husband, Vernon; children, Nicole (TJ0 Hamilton of Sheboygan, WI; Maureen “Mo” (Mike) Lancaster of Madison; Jerry (Mindy) White of Des Moines, IA; David (Tammi) White of Sun Prairie, WI; Jennifer (Andy) Bausch of Clifton Park, NY; Susan Bausch of Dodgeville, WI; Cheryl (Shawn Graff) White of Slinger, WI; Warren (Mary) White of Glen Haven, WI; Allen (Kim) White of Lancaster; Blanche (Bill) Windgassen of South Beloit, WI; 22 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary (Bill) Johnson, of Elm Grove, WI; Patricia (Richard) Fish of Paddock Lake, WI; sisters-in-law, Christine Code of Apache Junction, AZ; Patricia White and Sharon (Mike) Weber of Glen Haven, WI; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Bill Code, son-in-law, Ron Bausch, and brother-in-law, Paul White.

A celebration of life will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 19, 2012 at the United Methodist Church, Lancaster. A brief visitation after the service will be followed by a lunch at the church. Private family burial will be at the Goekel Cemetery, Glen Haven at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials should be made to Southwest Opportunities Center, Lancaster, WI.
